Tristan Herbert

tristin-LRTristan Herbert began his track career in 1999 racing motorcycles and moved to cars in 2008. Transferring into SCCA club racing Tristan amassed 22 wins, 3 track records and the ITB championship in the Mid-Atlantic Road Racing Series running a VW GTI.

Tristan made his Pro Racing debut in the 2010 Pirelli World Challenge at the streets of St. Petersburg where he captured the pole in qualifying, a track record and the touring class victory all in his first Pro rookie race. He went on to collect wins in touring car at Miller Motorsports Park Utah and again at Mid-Ohio before changing roles from driver to manager.

Tristan is not only a current FIA, SCCA pro and IMSA license holder but also Audi USA’s manager of motorsport and Audi Sport customer racing. He is someone who brings the perfect perspective to his job having experience in all aspects of motorsports. He’s got good history with the Volkswagen Group, too, having started racing in a VW Rabbit, MKV GTI, and currently a MKVI 2013 GLI. While his current job is with Audi, Tristan was also responsible for setting up and launching the first Lamborghini Super Trofeo in North America.

David Tilton

daveDavid Tilton started racing Carts at the age of 6. He worked his way up through the racing series by competing in SCCA Solo Auto Crossing and HPDE events. In 2009 David teamed up with his brother, Lee Tilton, a Championship driver from the South SCCA Series. They competed in “One Lap of America”, racing at tracks like, Daytona, Talladega, and Sebring. In 2010 David completed the SCCA competition school, at Summit Point Raceway, and is currently competing in the SCCA DC MARRS Region. In 2010 David formed Brimtek Motorsports. He signed Tristan Herbert to pilot the number 33 VW to compete in the SCCA Pro World Challenge Series. Today they continue to compete in the WC series and look to expand to other series as the new race cars are completed.
